Legal · Terms

The deal, in plain terms.

RollCall is operated by RollCall - NightLife, Inc., a Delaware corporation. These terms govern your use of the RollCall app and services. By using RollCall, you agree to them.

Who can use RollCall

You must be of legal nightlife age (21+) and able to form a binding agreement. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

What RollCall does

RollCall surfaces live crowd levels, deals, and your friends' activity, and lets you buy cover at participating venues. Crowd levels and venue info are best-effort signals, not guarantees — venues control their own door, capacity, and entry decisions.

Cover purchases & passes

Honest signals

RollCall depends on real signals. You agree not to fake check-ins, manipulate crowd data, spam invites or rallies, or impersonate others. Venues agree that room scans and deals they post must be genuine and current.

Your content & conduct

Your photos stay yours. When you share a photo to a night's gallery, you give us only the license we need to store it and show it to the people you've chosen — nothing more. Share only what you have the right to share, and be decent about who's in the frame. We may remove content that's unlawful, abusive, or reported by someone in it.

Don't use RollCall to break the law, harass others, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the platform.

Venue partners

If you manage a venue, you confirm you're authorized to represent it. Your listing is reviewed and approved before it appears in the app. You're responsible for the accuracy of your venue details, deals, cover pricing, and room scans, and for honoring valid passes.

Room scans. When you post a room scan, you grant RollCall a worldwide, royalty-free license to store and use it to operate the service and to build, train, and improve our crowd-detection models. Operating the service includes having scan images analyzed by our AI vision provider (currently Anthropic), acting as our service provider, to read the crowd level and headcount. You confirm you have the right to capture and upload each scan, including any notices or consents your venue and local law require for photographing the people in it. We use scans and the counts derived from them to improve accuracy; we take reasonable steps to avoid singling out identifiable individuals in that process, and you can delete a scan at any time. The same license and confirmations apply to walkthrough videos you record for your room map. By recording scans or walkthroughs through RollCall you confirm you're authorized to record your premises and are responsible for complying with local recording and signage laws (many states expect posted notice that cameras are in use). Never record audio of patrons when using RollCall — our capture tools record video only.

Your staff roster. Only add phone numbers your staff gave you for work purposes. RollCall will confirm directly with each person by text before sending them anything, and their opt-out always wins — including over you.

Disclaimers

RollCall is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that crowd levels, deals, or venue information are accurate or that you'll gain entry. RollCall is not responsible for venues, events, or your safety while out — use good judgment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RollCall is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service; continued use means you accept the changes. You can stop using RollCall and delete your account anytime.
